 Protective wraps are used to help newly planted vines or seedlings adapt to the vineyard or orchard environment upon transplanting. They help protect the plant from excessive sunrays and wind, deflect heat, deter rodents and guard against herbicide spray. With Zipset's Protective Wraps, sunlight enters from the top of the wrap, thereby promoting upward vine growth to the 1st trellis wire.

The Zipset protective system consists of vine and seedling protectors made from poly coated bleach board (Milk Carton Material). This material is ideal for extreme environmental conditions and available in two styles. The first is a heat-sealed drop-on and the second is a staple-on wrap, which may be required for plants with larger canopy development. Each style comes in several sizes to meet the grower’s needs.
